With a wealth of experience and expertise, they specialise in creating contemporary kitchens and bespoke furniture, tailored to both fitted and freestanding requirements.
Our work spans across residential and commercial projects, where we strive to elevate the aesthetic appeal and functionality of interior spaces. Our ultimate goal is to enhance organisation, efficiency, and overall appearance through thoughtfully designed and expertly crafted pieces.
We prioritise simplicity and honesty in design, creating enduring pieces with clean lines, precise craftsmanship, and a blend of modern and traditional techniques. Our client-centric approach tailors each project to individual preferences, delivering timeless, sophisticated designs that seamlessly blend form and function.
Who We Are
Our founder, Pete Hewitt, started this journey in 2008, motivated by a strong foundation in design and a passion for craftsmanship. Pete earned a Product Design degree from The Glasgow School of Art before further training at The Chippendale School of Furniture. His distinctive design combines functionality and elegance.
Our core values centre on customer satisfaction. We adapt to each project to fit the specific goals of our clients. Whether perfecting a design or bringing a concept to life, we ensure every piece fulfils the requirements of our customers. We work directly with architects, designers, contractors, and private clients to promote creativity by drawing on our design experience.
Based primarily in Scotland, particularly Edinburgh and the Lothians, we undertake projects nationally. Our commitment to excellence is evident in our client-centric approach and the materials we use. We select the finest materials within the budget, employing simple yet sophisticated joinery techniques to create enduring pieces that blend seamlessly into diverse architectural and stylistic environments. Our design philosophy is guided by the principle of form following function, promoting sustainability by using locally sourced hardwoods wherever feasible.
The Process
Our process is designed to translate your vision into reality, whether an individual seeking to transform a living space or business aiming to enhance a commercial environment. We welcome the opportunity to collaborate with you, guiding you through each step to ensure your needs are met with understanding, precision and excellence.
Contacting us to talk about your project is the first step. During our initial consultation, we explore your aesthetic preferences, desired dimensions, and the intended setting for the furniture. After initial concepts are sketched and developed, we work together to choose materials that complement your vision, including any potential lighting and hardware.
Upon reaching a final agreement – including quotation and deposit – work begins within the agreed timeframe. Clear communication and transparency guide us throughout, as well as coordinating with other trades if necessary to ensure a smooth and efficient installation.
At every stage, our focus remains on delivering high-end projects that exceed your expectations, both in terms of quality and craftsmanship.
