Skye
This outdoor furniture has been made for an award winning house which provides luxury accommodation on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. The table and benches are made from Iroko, an African hardwood, which is very durable for use outdoors due to the natural characteristics of the timber.
To create an architectural feel to the design, the woodwork has been combined with specially made boxes and plinths, fabricated from 10mm mild steel. With age, the metalwork will begin to rust creating the flotsam type aesthetic that the client desires.
